Maynard Business Alliance Sponsoring Local Band Concerts in Downtown Maynard

The Maynard Business Alliance in cooperation with the Town of Maynard have contracted with SCEPTRE Marketing Group of Maynard to produce the town’s first series of Spring Music Concerts and street performances.

SCEPTRE, Alex Thayer of Look Optical and a number of other members of the Alliance will bring together local area bands that will perform in the downtown parking basin playing “Maynard’s Favorites” on three Saturday’s in May 2012. The first concert will feature music of the Beatles, the second music of the Eagles and finally music of Neil Young. In addition, the Alliance will arrange for a number of “Buskers” (street performers) to entertain on Nason and Main Streets in downtown Maynard on the four Saturday’s in June 2012.
